Directions for the Ice Cream 1. Pour one cup of cream into a large pot with the sugar, cinnamon & salt 2. Stir over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved, then remove from heat 3. Whisk in remaining cream, milk, & vanilla extract 4. Once the mixture has reached room temperature, remove the cinnamon stick and pour into an ice cream maker 5. Churn according to instructions, then transfer to a bowl & freeze for 3 hours 6. Before serving, use a spatula to fold in the Directions for the Pears 1. Preheat the oven to 400F & grease a small baking dish, then place pears cut side up in the prepared dish 2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat 3. Then whisk in the rest of the ingredients and continue to cook until sauce has thickened 4. Pour over the pears and cover to prevent from burning 5. Roast for 30 mins, then allow to cool for 15mins 6. Serve the ice cream over the roasted pears and garnish with chopped almonds then enjoy!
